Integrated Farming at Gazipur is a masterplan developed around the idea of a coherently connected productive landscape, bringing together livestock, aquaculture, cultivation, habitation and essential farm infrastructure within a single ecological system.

Set alongside the Turag River, the 112-decimal site is envisioned as more than a collection of farming facilities. The masterplan connects fish ponds, poultry, duck, cattle and goat sheds with fodder cultivation, productive landscapes and resource-recovery infrastructure, allowing the different components of the farm to support one another.

The proposal places particular emphasis on maintaining a green and environmentally responsive character, while using the site’s water landscape as an integral part of the farming system. Waste streams can be treated as resources through biogas, composting and appropriate nutrient-recycling strategies, while pond edges and productive planting contribute to the site’s ecological and agricultural productivity.

At its core, the project explores how a contemporary farm can operate as a self-supporting landscape—where architecture, agriculture, water and ecology work together rather than independently.
